The Heart Line and the Heart Chakra
Alright, Happy Monday everyone. This week our focus is on your Heart Line (see illustrations for location) and the fourth energy center, the Heart Chakra (located in the center of your chest). Think love, feeling, vulnerability, receptivity, self-care, harmony, connection with others.
We have all heard the saying, live a heart centered life. Well, the heart chakra is like a bridge that connects the lower chakras (Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus) with the upper chakras (Throat, Third Eye, Crown). A connection that allows the vitality, of the physical, to integrated with the bliss, of the non-physical. In short the heart chakra, is where we begin to see and interact with the world beyond survival.
The Heart Line has much to tell us, I could write a book on it, but for our discussion here, as it relates to the Heart Chakra, we are going to focus on a few markers that show up on Heart line. These markers are indicators, of specific experiences/challenges, you may have or continue to encounter as you move, from survival into authentic love, for self and others.
There are many other elements and markings, of the heart line, and some of them we will get to later in this blog, and as with all things, in the hands, and in life nothing, is stand alone. However, in the name of time and brevity, I have picked markers that would bring you the most insight through the observance of your own hands.
Markings & What They Trying To Tell YOU
This marking represents a diffusion, of intimate energies, to avoid vulnerability; limiting our deep connection to self and others and causes us dis harmony. How do I avoid true intimacy? (see illustration below)
Doubling or also called armoring, of the heart, has to do with trust issues(with self or others) associated with one’s safety and security being challenged/compromised, in a profound way. What past experiences, in relationship, keeps me from trusting myself or others, and truly connect with others? (see Illustration below)
The dangling X is indicative, of issues, of support or receptivity. Do I let others support me? Do I allow myself to receive what others offer me? (see illustration below)
Thoughts about feeling and emotions have you running, in circles, causing an obstruction, on your bridge. How do my thoughts about my feelings keep me from feeling my feelings and truly connecting with myself and others ? (see illustration below)
As the name, of this marking suggests, these lines represent deep angers and frustrations that are associated with intimate relationships. The longer the line(s) the greater the anger. How are these angers holding me back? How do I withhold forgiveness of myself, and those I feel have hurt me, as a way, to keep intimacy at an arm’s length? (see Illustration below)
This heart line is rare; it is relatively unmarked and clear, and while this might seem to be ideal it comes with its share of potential issues. There can be a naïve-ness that can plague a person who has a pure heart line. In relationship to the Heart Chakra, this represents clear energy/passage on the side of the bridge connecting the lower Chakras, but there maybe a distortion, in discernment (the connection, of the bridge, to the upper chakras). This can result in relationship issues around others taking advantage of you. When have I been blindsided, in relationships? How may I be placing my reliance or trust, in others rather than, in myself. (see illustration below)
We all have experiences, much of them affecting our heart, we are after all emotional beings. Our heart line records the energetic impact, of these experience. Most people’s heart lines are riddled with markings, this is not surprising as we are energetic emotional beings, living in a physical material world, and experiences are how we grow, learn, expand, and mature. Moving towards a greater connection to self and an understanding of Oneness or Unity.
These markings are messages, like a voice message, telling you what is going on with your emotional heart center. Showing you; reminding you that you are a work of Divine art always in process, and at the same time already perfect, whole, and complete.
